How do I check the battery on my headband?
The Elemind Sleep headband and app give you two ways to check the status of your battery charge.
- The Battery Icon in the upper right corner of the app.
- Pressing the Action Button when the headband is NOT in an active Sleep Session.
The Battery Icon in the upper right corner of your app displays three different levels of charge.
- Three Bars (white): Fully charged battery and means you have enough battery to successfully complete a full night’s Sleep Session.
- Two Bars (white): Partially charged and means you have enough charge to start a new Sleep Session; however, it is possible that you may not have enough power to complete your Sleep Session. Whether or not your battery survives to the morning depends on how long you sleep, how long it took you to fall asleep, and how often you restarted the sleep stimulation sounds in the middle of the night.
- One Bar (red): Low battery. Charging is strongly recommended before starting a new Sleep Session. While you may be able to start a new Sleep Session, you will most certainly not be able to complete an entire night’s session of sleep stimulation and sleep data analysis. A full charge takes about 3 hours to complete.
If you’re not using your headband in an active Sleep Session, you can quickly check your battery by pressing the Action Button on the lower plastic panel of your headband. A solid LED light will stay on for a few seconds indicating the level of charge.
- Green: Your headband is fully charged and ready for a full night’s Sleep Session.
- Orange: Your headband is partially charged and may run out of charge before you end your session in the morning.
- Red: Your headband battery level is low and will not last the night. We strongly recommend that you charge your headband before you start a new Sleep Session. A full charge takes about 3 hours to complete.
