My headband is flashing blue and red. What does that mean?
If you see an alternating blue-red-blue flashing sequence, this means your headband’s clock is out of sync with your local time. This can happen if your headband remains uncharged for a prolonged period of time.
To fix this issue:
- Force close your app.
- Wait 10 seconds, and restart your app.
- Check to see that your headband reconnects with your phone.
The rapidly flashing blue light should stop once your headband reconnects with your phone. If it doesn’t, reach out to Elemind Customer Support (support@elemindtech.com) for additional assistance.
My headband is showing a solid red light and stopped working.
If you see a solid red light on your headband that does not shut off, this means your headband has experienced a firmware crash and needs to be reset.
To reset your your headband:
- Press and hold the Action Button and the Volume (-) button together until you see a single, brief red light flash (between 8-12 seconds).
- Release both buttons after the red light flash.
After your headband resets, your headband will display a pulsing red light for several seconds to a few minutes. This is the headband gathering diagnostic information about the crash. After the pulsing red light has stopped, force quit your app on your phone, restart it, and check that your headband reconnects with your phone.
If your headband successfully reconnects with your phone, we ask that you go to Settings > Support > Customer Support and tap on the “Submit Diagnostics” button. Submitting the crash diagnostics helps our technical team identify the cause of the crash and engineer fixes for future firmware and software updates.
